Semi Intensive Courses:
If you're in a hurry to pass your test, or if you don't have the time to spread out your driving lessons then come to us. We can offer semi intensive driving courses which are built specifially around times to suit you in order to help you pass your test quickly.
Courses will be arranged after an initial assessment lesson with one of our qualified instructors.
Refresher Courses:
If you have been out of the UK for some time or if you haven't driven for a long period then it can be tricky to get used to being back behind the wheel, in this instance, we can offer refresher courses. Contact us for details and prices of these courses.
Practice For Parents:
Practice For Parents is a tutorial service that has been put together specifically by Alloys Driving School to assist parents who would like to give their son or daughter private driving lessons but who may be worried that the rules of the road and the driving tests may have changed considerably since they took their own tests.
Private driving lessons with an experienced parent or family friend are being used increasingly by learner drivers in order to help reduce the cost of learning to drive. It is estimated that the average, successful driving test candidate has had 46 hours of professional lessons and 23 hours of private practice.
Statistics show that learners who have had private practice driving lessons are more likely to pass their driving tests and are less likely to have an road accident in the months after passing their driving tests.
You can book a Practice For Parents session with our qualified instructor at Alloys Driving School and we can advise and instruct you in and around your chosen test centre area explaining different safe driving techniques that you can use to help your son or daughter. Our instructor will drive the car and explain how to help your son or daughter to practice safe driving techniques. You can book a 1 or 2 hour session at just £20.00 an hour and save yourself money in the long run by assisting with proper practice driving time.

PASS PLUS Courses:
PASS PLUS courses are designed to make new drivers better drivers. Alloys Driving School provides courses in night time driving, town driving, all weather driving and dual carriageway and motorway driving. PASS PLUS builds on your skills and knowledge and will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards in order to help you become a more confident and safe driver.
Once pupils have passed their driving test they can then pay for structured tuition from one of our approved and registered PASS PLUS instructors. Any driver can take a PASS PLUS course at any time, but it is mainly aimed at new drivers in the first year after passing their test.
Once sucessfully completing their PASS PLUS training, pupils will receive a PASS PLUS certificate which is written proof that they have passed the PASS PLUS course. Once they have received this, pupils may be able to claim a substantial discount on their motor car insurance policy. The savings made could more than cover the cost of the training.

* 1st 5 lessons rate applies to new students with no previous experience of driving.
Block Booking Prices*:
- 10 Hours Lessons - £190.00
- 20 Hours Lessons - £370.00
- 30 Hours Lessons - £540.00
* Please note the price for block bookings does not include your test fees.
Parent Practice Sessions:
- 1 Hour - £21.00
- 2 Hours - £40.00
